General Auto Repair in Milwaukee, WI

Full-Service Auto Repair in Milwaukee, WI

Milwaukee is our home, and our shop on 640 W Armour Ave is where we do all of our work. Drivers across the city bring us everything from a check engine light to a transmission that slips between gears. We work on cars, trucks and SUVs, and we handle the diagnosis and the repair under one roof.

Our team covers engine work and engine rebuilding, brakes, transmissions, suspension, air conditioning and routine maintenance. Our technicians are skilled and experienced, and they work with state-of-the-art equipment to find the real cause of a problem. That means the repair fixes what is actually wrong instead of guessing at parts. The goal is quality work at a price that stays affordable.

Why Milwaukee Drivers Choose Us

Milwaukee drivers come back because we treat repairs as the start of a relationship, not a one-time sale. Trust and honesty guide how we talk about your vehicle, so you understand what it needs and why. We would rather earn a customer for years than push a repair you do not need.

Luis opened Shorty's Auto Repair LLC in 2021, and for 5+ years the shop has served neighbors across Greater Milwaukee. Our team speaks Spanish as well as English, so Spanish-speaking drivers can explain a problem in their own words. Call (414) 364-9357 or request a quote online, and we will tell you what the repair involves.

About Milwaukee, WI

Milwaukee sits on the western shore of Lake Michigan, where the Menomonee, Kinnickinnic and Milwaukee rivers meet. It counted 577,222 people at the 2020 census, and its metro area is home to more than 1.57 million residents. Interstate 43 and Interstate 94 cross the city and meet downtown at the Marquette Interchange.

The city has a humid continental climate, with cold, snowy winters and hot, humid summers. Average snowfall runs to about 48.7 inches a year, and January is the coldest month. Weather like that asks a lot of a battery, a heater, an air conditioner and the brakes that stop you on a wet or snowy road. A vehicle that is checked before each season is far less likely to leave you stranded on the highway.
