About Oak Creek, WI

Oak Creek lies immediately south of Milwaukee on the southwestern shore of Lake Michigan. It became a city in 1955, and it counted 36,497 residents at the 2020 census. The city covers about 28.45 square miles, all of it land.

The city has grown with companies such as Amazon, IKEA, Astronautics Corporation of America and Meijer. The 85-acre Drexel Town Square brings together shops, restaurants, a hotel, homes and a medical facility. The IKEA store sits directly off Interstate 94, which carries much of the traffic through the area. All those errands and commutes add up to miles, and miles are what wear out brakes, tires and fluids.
